Strollers, cribs and car seats oh my!

So we have started to think about all of the things we will need for Baby C and it is so overwhelming to say the least! How will one tiny person need all of this stuff?  And how do you know you are getting the right stuff?  So I am challenging my friends/family to give me ideas of things they couldn't imagine living without with a baby.  Ready, set, go!!

On another note we visited a daycare today that John and I both really liked so that was a relief.

Will be 19 weeks on Monday!  Starting to feel baby move which is so cool and definitely starting to show.  Belly pictures are soon to come.

2 weeks until we find out if our little bundle of joy is a girl or boy!!! Can't wait

  1. less is more :)
We love our Bob running stroller. It's the easiest stroller to push (by far) and we've had our fair share of strollers. The only downside is it doesn't fold down really small like some umbrella strollers.
Two of my three LOVED the swing as a baby, Will was colicky and HATED it.
We've never had a video monitor but they look pretty cool but definitely not necessary, we've gotten through 3 without.
Can't wait to hear if it's a girl or boy!!

  2. The answer is you don't need all of that stuff:) Hey do you need a jumper though? You can have ours I was going to have a garage sale but I don't think that will happen....let me know:) If I had to list the essentials I would say car seat, swing, stroller, baby washcloths (regular ones are way too big), baby bathtub or just a mat in the tub would work too, swaddling blankets, and some teethers/rattles! If you are going to breastfeed you need a pump too. It is a lot of stuff I know! We got by never having a pack n play or many things because we just didn't have the room for them. Good luck!
